IMPERIOUSNESS is foolishness

 

Proverbs 16:18 

King James Version

18 Pride goeth before destruction, 

and an haughty spirit before a fall.

Imperiousness is being haughty, proud, arrogant, superior, froward.

God hates the froward mouth, the boastful mouth.

Proverbs 8:13 (KJV)

13 The fear of the Lord 

is to hate evil: 

pride, 

and arrogancy, 

and the evil way, 

and the froward mouth, 

do I hate.

We in the world, are too concerned with what the neighbors would say.

In my born again heart, it matters only what GOD would say.

What does He think of me?

Am I worthy in His sight?

Sinful as I am, I must have been.

As we all are.

For He gave His life as ransom that we may be saved.

Mark 10:45 (KJV)

45 For even the Son of man came 

not to be ministered unto, 

but to minister, 

and to give his life 

a ransom for many.

In the LORD JESUS -- the GOD of ALL -- is no imperious bone in His body.

He didn't care what people said about Him.

He only cared He was obedient to the FATHER.

John 6:38-40 (KJV)

38 For I came down from heaven, 

not to do mine own will, 

but the will of him that sent me.

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, 

that of all which he hath given me 

I should lose nothing, 

but should raise it up again at the last day.

40 And this is the will of him that sent me, 

that every one which seeth the Son, 

and believeth on him, 

may have everlasting life: 

and I will raise him up at the last day.

Our SAVIOR came to the world, as nothing, for He wanted to set an example for all of us, Jew and Gentile.

Philippians 2:5-7 (KJV)

5 Let this mind be in you, 

which was also in Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in the form of God, 

thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

7 But made himself of no reputation, 

and took upon him the form of a servant, 

and was made in the likeness of men:

And as a man of no reputation, the LORD JESUS took on PERFECT humility.

Isaiah 53:3-8 (KJV)

3 He is despised and rejected of men; 

a man of sorrows, 

and acquainted with grief: 

and we hid as it were our faces from him; 

he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, 

and carried our sorrows: 

yet we did esteem him stricken, 

smitten of God, 

and afflicted.

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, 

he was bruised for our iniquities: 

the chastisement of our peace was upon him; 

and with his stripes we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; 

we have turned every one to his own way; 

and the Lord hath laid on him 

the iniquity of us all.

and he was afflicted,

After reading all these verses about the LORD JESUS, the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, can we still afford to be froward?

May our hearts be in the right place with God.

Only by His GRACE do we exist, and are saved.

IDOLATRY is an abomination

 

Exodus 20:1-6 

King James Version

20 And God spake all these words, saying,

2 I am the Lord thy God, 

which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, 

out of the house of bondage.

3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, 

or any likeness of any thing 

that is in heaven above,

 or that is in the earth beneath, 

or that is in the water under the earth.

5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, 

nor serve them: 

for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, 

visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children 

unto the third and fourth generation of them 

that hate me;

6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them 

that love me, 

and keep my commandments.

GOD hates idolatry.

You would obey His first commandment, if you really love, and honor God.

Why is it so difficult for many to understand this?

It is also the first great commandment, according to JESUS.

Matthew 22:36-38

36 Master, 

which is the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, 

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God 

with all thy heart, 

and with all thy soul, 

and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

But need we be surprised, considering the world is under the sway of the fallen one?

GOD is a LIVING God, in the person of JESUS.

Idols -- whether of gold, or silver -- cannot speak, and are of no use to the salvation of your soul.

They cannot heal you, save you, nor enrich you.

But obsession for them will destroy you.

Jeremiah 10:3-5

3 For the customs of the people are vain: 

for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, 

the work of the hands of the workman, 

with the axe.

4 They deck it with silver and with gold; 

they fasten it with nails and with hammers, 

that it move not.

5 They are upright as the palm tree, 

but speak not: 

they must needs be borne, 

because they cannot go. 

Be not afraid of them; 

for they cannot do evil, 

neither also is it in them to do good.

There are many forms of idolatry, too.

There is the inordinate love for people who represent "idols" in history, entertainment, sports, government, education, science, wealth, beauty, or intellect.

ANYTHING that distracts us from LOVING God, is a form of idolatry.

We get distracted from focusing on the WORD of GOD.

We are beholden to the things of the world, to the great delight of the prince of the world, who does everything in his delusional power, to distract us from WORSHIPING the ONE, TRUE GOD.

Well, there is only ONE GOD, and that is the LORD JESUS.

Hebrews 1:1-6

1 God, 

who at sundry times and in divers manners 

spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, 

whom he hath appointed heir of all things, 

by whom also he made the worlds;

3 Who being the brightness of his glory,

and upholding all things by the word of his power, 

when he had by himself purged our sins, 

sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

4 Being made so much better than the angels, 

as he hath by inheritance obtained 

a more excellent name than they.

JESUS is the only one worthy of our devotion, loyatly, and worship, for He is the IMAGE of GOD.

Colossians 1:12-15

12 Giving thanks unto the Father,

13 Who hath delivered us 

from the power of darkness, 

and hath translated us 

into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood,

the firstborn of every creature:

GOD is all that matters.

The CREATOR is the ONLY ONE who deserves our undivided adoration, and attention.

JESUS has shown us how to love the FATHER.

Jesus' WAY has been the ONLY WAY.

John 14:6 (KJV)

6 Jesus saith unto him, 

I am the way, 

the truth, 

and the life: 

no man cometh unto the Father, 

but by me.

Idolatry belongs in the latrine.

Harsh words for a harsh sin.

For  myself, I LOVE and HONOR the LORD JESUS alone.

Joshua 24:15 (KJV)

15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, 

choose you this day whom ye will serve; 

whether the gods which your fathers served 

that were on the other side of the flood, 

or the gods of the Amorites, 

in whose land ye dwell: 

but as for me and my house, 

we will serve the Lord.

INDIFFERENCE is lethal

 

Revelation 3:15-16 

King James Version

15 I know thy works, 

that thou art neither cold nor hot: 

I would thou wert cold or hot.

16 So then because thou art lukewarm, 

and neither cold nor hot, 

I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Ignorance is dangerous, but indifference is lethal.

Ignorance can be innocent, and unknowing.

Indifference is by intent, and by design.

Even from a coldness of heart.

You simply don't care.

You just want to be left alone.

Most importantly, we cannot be indifferent to God.

JESUS said:

Matthew 11:16-17 (KJV)

16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? 

It is like unto children sitting in the markets, 

and calling unto their fellows,

17 And saying, 

We have piped unto you, 

and ye have not danced; 

we have mourned unto you, 

and ye have not lamented.

The LORD GOD is faithful, patient, kind, long-suffering -- but not subject to abuse.

More so, never to indifference.

He will "spue" you out of His mouth.

He prefers you're either hot, or cold -- never in between, playing safe, not caring, not concerned, wishing to be left alone, not making a stand, and hardly alive.

How can we be lukewarm, when our GOD is this:

29 For our God is a consuming fire.

And demands of us:

Jeremiah 23:29 (KJV)

29 Is not my word like as a fire? 

saith the Lord; 

and like a hammer 

that breaketh the rock in pieces?

You can only be alive in CHRIST if you are born again, for you will understand things of the Spirit.

John 4:24 (KJV)

24 God is a Spirit: 

and they that worship him 

must worship him 

in spirit and in truth.

Furthermore, you will be baptized differently by the LORD JESUS:

Luke 3:16 (KJV)

16 John answered, 

saying unto them all, 

I indeed baptize you with water; 

but one mightier than I cometh, 

the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: 

he shall baptize you 

with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

How can a true warrior of God be lukewarm, or indifferent?

No such thing.

We warriors of the Spirit burn with ZEAL for the LORD!

He fires up our spirits!

We fight for the GLORY of GOD, and slay all untruth with the "sword of the Spirit" -- the WORD of GOD!

Ephesians 6:17 (KJV)

17 And take the helmet of salvation, 

and the sword of the Spirit, 

which is the word of God:

IGNORANCE is dangerous

 

Hosea 4:6 

King James Version

6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: 

because thou hast rejected knowledge, 

I will also reject thee, 

that thou shalt be no priest to me: 

seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, 

I will also forget thy children.

Ignorance is not bliss.

It is dangerous.

Especially if you do not know the WORD of GOD.

It may cost you your soul.

1 Peter 5:8-9 

King James Version

8 Be sober, 

be vigilant; 

because your adversary the devil, 

as a roaring lion, 

walketh about, 

seeking whom he may devour:

9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, 

knowing that the same afflictions 

are accomplished in your brethren 

that are in the world.

Ignorance will also alienate you from the life of God.

Ephesians 4:18

18 Having the understanding darkened, 

being alienated from the life of God 

through the ignorance that is in them, 

because of the blindness of their heart:

Ignorance of God's laws has nearly been my downfall.

I know it was not intentional on my part to be ignorant of God's laws.

It seems there was a "veil" put upon my thinking, precisely why I kept "researching", making me read LOTS of books.

Searching for ULTIMATE TRUTH.

The BIBLE kept waiting for me.

Only when I surrendered to God, did the LORD send clarity to my heart, by leading me to two urgent videos about America.

In turn, those videos led me to study Bible PROPHECY.

After that, the blogs kept multiplying, and the hunger for God's WORD kept increasing.

Had not the LORD heard my prayer -- to know His TRUTH alone -- my soul would have been destroyed.

But He came to my rescue, knowing my heart was true, even as my sins were many.

When God sees the contents and desires of your heart, knowing it beats for Him only, He will lead you to His Son, JESUS.

But only God knows the DAY and HOUR when you will be given "instruction", to liberate you from your ignorance of His WORD.

His WORD is JESUS.

Your teacher will be the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD, who will teach you ALL things JESUS.

Only the LORD JESUS can lead you away from ignorance, for He is the WAY.

John 14:6

6 Jesus saith unto him,

the truth, 

and the life: 

no man cometh unto the Father, 

but by me.

For every question in your heart, seek the LORD for answers, and ONLY Him.

GOD is always there for us, any moment of the day, or night.

There can be no greater counsel.
